Qualifications
Educational Requirements: No education/diploma required, as long as you are in good health and have a strong sense of responsibility, you are welcome to apply.
Experience: No relevant work experience is required.
• People with new immigrants, refugees, youth, indigenous peoples, and ethnic minorities are encouraged to apply.
Working time
40 hours per week.

Job Description
As a Construction Helper, your duties will include:
1. Loading, unloading and transporting construction materials
Loading and unloading: Responsible for safely loading various construction materials (such as wood, concrete, steel, etc.) onto transport vehicles and unloading them at the construction site.
Transportation: Transport construction materials in and outside the construction site to ensure that the materials are delivered to the designated location in a timely manner to support the construction progress.
2. Clean and lubricate cranes
Daily maintenance: Regularly check the cleanliness of the crane and clean it with appropriate cleaning agents and tools.
Lubrication: Regularly add lubricants to the moving parts of the crane according to the equipment manual to ensure its smooth operation.
3. Establish and remove concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, walkway supports and barricades
Formwork construction: Assist workers in building the formwork required for concrete pouring to ensure that it is stable and meets the design requirements.
Scaffolding installation: Assist in the installation and removal of scaffolding to ensure the safety of construction workers working at heights.
Ramp and barricade setting: Build ramps and barricades according to construction needs to ensure safe access to the construction site.
4. Assist in building houses, walling and roofing
House construction: Participate in the construction of house frames, walling and roofing under the guidance of experienced workers.
Material preparation: Prepare required construction materials and assist with on-site measurements and marking.
5. Level the soil to fine-grained specifications
Soil preparation: Use hand tools or small machinery (such as a grader) to prepare the soil on the construction site to ensure that the foundation meets the requirements of the project.
6. Clean up and stack recycled materials
Recycled material management: Responsible for sorting and stacking recyclable construction materials such as wood, metal and plastic to ensure that the site is clean and meets environmental standards.
7. Perform daily maintenance work
Equipment maintenance: Assist in daily inspection and maintenance of construction equipment to ensure that all tools are in good condition.
Work area preparation: Keep the work area clean and orderly to reduce potential safety hazards.
8. Clean up chemical leaks and other contaminants
Emergency treatment: In the event of a chemical leak, take prompt measures to clean up and follow safe operating procedures to prevent the spread of contamination.
Safe disposal: Dispose of hazardous waste in accordance with relevant regulations to ensure environmental safety.
9. Remove rubble and other debris from the construction site
Garbage removal: Regularly clean up rubble, waste and debris on the site to ensure construction site safety and improve work efficiency.
Waste disposal: Classify waste according to regulations and properly dispose of it to meet environmental protection requirements.
10. Take care of or supply machines or equipment used in construction
Equipment management: Assist in the management of various mechanical equipment used in construction, including cranes, power tools, etc., to ensure that they are properly used and maintained.
Material supply: Provide the required tools and equipment in a timely manner according to the needs of workers to support the construction progress.
